Mental Health Awareness Night: Anthem Healthcare, Greenwood Education Foundation, and Greenwood Community Schools have partnered this week to help bring awareness to mental health. Greenwood High School will be hosting a “Community Tailgate” tonight starting at 5:30 in the GHS parking lot. The event will be held prior to the home football game. Thank you to Anthem Healthcare as they reached out to coordinate this effort to make our students and staff at GHS more aware of the 988 service available for those in need.
For Friday, September 29, 2023, Greenwood Schools will be on a 2-hour delay due to heavy fog. School and buses will start two hours later than the normal time.

Isom Elementary at 50 East Broadway Ave is serving free lunch to kids and teens this summer. Stop by from June 5th to July 21st (closed July 4th) from 11:00-12:00 for a free and nutritious meal. Adults 18 and over may also purchase a meal for $4.00.
Did you know the Daily Journal runs a special “Junior Journal” each year? It highlights work from some of our elementary students. This year, Greenwood was represented by students from Isom, Northeast, and Westwood. Student work submitted for publication included short stories and artwork. Great job!
GMS hosted the Math Bowl competition on April 11th for all elementary schools in Greenwood and Center Grove. Congratulations to Westwood’s Math Bowl team for winning the competition by scoring 21 points and winning by 2 points over the next highest school score. Great job Westwood students and coaches!
