2018-2019 Yearbook Orders - Early Ordering Special

Posted by on in Greenwood High School News
2018-2019 Advance Yearbook Order Special Offer

As the yearbook staff distributed the 2017-2018 yearbooks this week, they stuffed the attached flyer into each book with a special offer for the 2018-2019 yearbook. Of course, many of those papers might not have made it home with students. Anyone who orders by May 30 will be able to deduct $5 from the summer sales price. Use this flyer either to order your 2018-2019 yearbook by May 31 or by the July deadline. 2019presales.pdf

The yearbook staff is so excited to announce that next year's yearbook will be even bigger. We're increasing the overall size of the book -- both in terms of the page size as well as the number of pages. Also, we will add video and photo slideshow components to add to our coverage. And, we are raising the bar even more by setting a goal to include at least 3 photos and/or quotes from every single student in the school. These talented students have set lofty goals and are eager to get started capturing 2018-2019 for everyone.

Simply put, GHS has one of the best yearbooks in the state, and the yearbook staff has been creating a book that fits the budget set by the price students pay for their books as well as the advertising the yearbook staff sells to bring that price down as low as possible. Although the yearbook will cost the staff more to produce, they are going to push themselves to increase advertising sales so students do not notice a significant change in price.

Look for junior varsity and freshman sports to be covered in the book instead of the supplement. Look for much more coverage of our music program (band, guard, and choir) and various student organizations that have emerged over recent years.

2017-2018 Spring Supplement

Because the yearbook staff has to stop covering the school year at the beginning of March so books can be distributed the last week of school, the staff creates a Spring supplement that includes all Spring sports, freshman sports, and JV sports as well as Prom, graduation, guard, etc. Look for information about downloading your Spring supplement within the next few weeks.
