Homecoming 2017

Here is some information regarding homecoming week, powderpuff, the pep rally, the parade, the football game, and dance that needs to be put on the website and school newsletter:

The spirit days for homecoming week are as followed:

Monday- Ballers vs. Scholars

Tuesday- Tacky Tourist

Wednesday- Hippie Day

Thursday- Class Color Day

Friday- Green and Gold

The powderpuff game will take place on Thursday night (9/21). Participants of the game need to arrive at 6pm and the game will begin at 7pm. Admission in to the game will be a monetary donation of any amount. The event usually lasts an hour and a half. The half time entertainment will consist of male cheerleading teams from each class. The Mrs. Curl ice cream truck and the Brozinnis Pizzeria truck will be at the game.

The pep rally will take place on Friday. The schedule during the day will be altered and the pep rally will begin at approximately 1:45.

The parade before the game will begin at 6pm, but floats and participants need to arrive at Freedom Springs at 5:30pm. The parade route will begin at Freedom Springs, go down Averitt, turn on to Smith Valley, and then go down Woodmen Boulevard.

The football game against Paoli will begin at 7pm. The crowning of king and queen will take place at halftime.

The semi-formal homecoming dance will take place on 9/23 and will be at Dyes Walk Country Club. Girls should wear a dress and boys should wear nice slacks and a dress shirt. The dance will begin at 7pm and end at 10pm. Continue reading
